2018 was the year when we once again implemented the design solution for the Eastern Economic Forum venue in Vladivostok. This time we worked in collaboration with the State Hermitage Museum and the Russian State Library — all on request of the Roscongress Foundation.
Back in 2017 the core theme was Russian avant-garde; this modern art movement speaks for itself and is still recognizable around the world. This year’s design is based on the crown prince Nicholas’s journey to the East (the future emperor Nicholas II, the last Emperor of Russia). The venue decoration is closely linked to the historical documents: photographs and lithographs from the journey, Nicholas’s presents from the overseas.
