The history of great navigator Ivan Kruzenshtern is famous for his journeys. The exhibition includes the rich heritage of the voyager from the round-the-world expedition. Visitors explore scientific and ethnographic works, his journey history of the fleet development, and the trade relations.

The exposition is built as a dialogue between the human genius and the sea. This connection is expressed in the materials: the strict rigging of the ship's side against the deep shades of indigo and the ragged rhythm of the panels. Visitors can observe how the personality of Ivan Krusenstern is revealed through combining German solidity and Russian adventurism between Scylla and Charybdis

Through the captain's office, we get to the core of the exposition - the ship's cabin, where all the trophies of the round-the-world trip are collected. In contrast to the dynamics of the perimeter, the cabin becomes a chamber space. Subdued colors and delicate finishes highlight the wealth of treasures collected from all over the world.

The main part of the exposition is the captain's bridge with a helm and navigator’s history inside as well as an excellent view of the city outside.
