10 years of Sotheby’s in Russia is the 10 years of new national passion. The company celebrated its anniversary in the most proper way — with an exhibition. «The Vision of an Art Collector» represents the finest examples of Russian taste: the exquisite trophies won on the battlefields of art auctions.
The exhibition brought together the masterpieces from private Russian collections and the top items sold at international auctions. More than 70 artworks from all over Europe, Russia and Africa were on display. As well as the artifacts from the Russian State Library; they guided the visitors through the history of arts patronage in Russia.
Our principal goal was to create a safe and multifunctional exhibition space. Such space allows not only to hold art auctions, but also to keep the items secure. We as well developed the set design, using the recognizable brandbook of Sotheby’s: navy background, original fonts.
