Expo 2020 in Dubai was a great opportunity for us to show a parallel between a desert oasis and a modern megapolis. The goal of the pavilion is to present to the international and Arabic public the beauty and diversity of the contemporary oasis – a dynamically changing metropolis with the ability to choose its lifestyle that respects the historical heritage.
The exposition consists of three main blocks: the central installation «Flight over Moscow», framed by bas-reliefs of the city panorama with video graphics complemented by video art, as well as five thematic podiums in the exhibition space. Thus, the architecture of the pavilion shows the real meaning of high-quality life in the megapolis. The exposition perimeter is a high relief supplemented with interactive graphics, as a result, the viewer gets complete sensual immersion into the modern oasis. The exhibit also includes sculptural installations each representing a composition of megapolis as a garden city full of communication connections
We teamed up with contemporary Moscow artists for EXPO 2022 — Georgy Arzamasov, Mikhail Rozanov, and Pavel Zeldovich to create a video art installation for the exhibition. It was complemented by Viktor Osadchev, who composed a musical theme for us.
